| | Well, it's been a while since I've updated (yet again). Anyway, I'll just come right out and say it, I am officially a Buckeye. I have been accepted into the DPT program at Ohio State and I couldn't be more excited about it. Come June, I'll be moving back in to my parent's house in Grove City and hopefully reconnecting with the locals. About 300 people applied to the PT program and only 40 were accepted, so I guess that's something to be proud of. Going along with that, this is my last quarter at Wright State (wrong college). I'm taking the last exercise biology courses here and then I'm taking Biology 115, Evolution & Diversity. Yes, it's a freshman course. I put it off for so long because I heard the professor was a flippo. I didn't feel like adding another B or C to my transcript before applying to OSU. Now that I've been accepted (and I have to take it to graduate), I just no longer care. "C's get degrees." Graduation is June 9th and I start at OSU on June 18th. Only a week, but I guess I'll still be in school-mode so it will be okay. I won't be playing in the alumni softball tournament this year either because my best pal Melissa (another EXB major at WSU, she's going to UD for PT school) is getting married on July 28th (the same weekend as the tournament) and I'm a bridesmaid. I'm happy for her! I'm trying to think of what else is going on right now. Not too much, I guess. I don't have much to worry about right now, which is weird. I think I'm worrying more about not having anything to worry about. Just going to get through this quarter, graduate and then I'll finally be doing what I've wanted to do for as long as I could remember. This weekend I think I'm going to go to campus and buy some Ohio State gear. You all take care! Hopefully I'll be able to catch up with all of you soon. Smiling! ~ Britt "Her face is a map of the world, is a map of the world. You can see she's a beautiful girl, she's a beautiful girl. And everything around her is a silver pool of light, the people who surround her feel the benefit of it, it makes you calm, she holds you captivated in her palm.
Suddenly I see this is what I wanna be, suddenly I see why the hell it means so much to me." ~KT Tunstall (Suddenly I See)
